Buju Banton Sentenced to 10 Years In Prison

Mark Myrie better known as reggae artist Buju Banton was sentenced to 10 years of jail time for being convicted in February on conspiracy to possess cocaine with the intent to distribute and also being in possession of a firearm. Buju was arressted in 2009 when an informant was able to obtain video evidence of Buju tasting cocaine and speaking boldly about the drug deal. At the very least he must spend six years behind bars.
