Ja Rule Starts 2 1/2 year Jail Sentence

Ja Rule is set to serve 2 1/2 years for getting arrested on a gun charge the same night he and Lil Wayne had a performance in New York back in 2007. Lil Wayne also was arrested the same night which led to Weezy serving 10 months on Rikers Island this past year. Ja Rule was recording the follow up to his classic Pain is Love album but due to his incarceration it wont be released anytime soon. At one time Ja Rule was one of the most popular artists until 50 Cent came and dismantled his career.
